Workplace violence is any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other disruptive behavior that occurs at the worksite. The threat of workplace violence remains a serious concern for any business; in an average week in the U.S., one employee is killed and at least 25 are seriously injured in violent assaults by current or former coworkers. This course will help supervisors understand the basics of workplace violence, including how to recognize risk factors and warning signs, and how to manage incidents when they occur.
