OFCCP issued a new round of Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters for 1,000 federal service and supply contractors on September 8, 2023. They also issued Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters for 250 federal construction contractors.

This letter is best known as the (CSAL). The CSAL is a courtesy notification to an establishment selected to undergo an audit. OFCCP sends the CSAL in advance of the approved scheduling letter. They post a CSAL list once or twice a year.  Take advantage of CSAL lead time.  In some cases, you may have an additional month or more to prepare. In other cases, you may received your scheduling letter right away.

To prepare:

  • Identify red-flags and conduct additional analyses
  • Document outreach, recruiting and hiring processes
  • Conduct thorough compensation pay equity analysis
  • Prep hiring/comp managers on how to conduct equal opportunity job interviews

Contractors commonly ask: If we are on the CSAL List, will be definitely be audited? The answer: Yes.  If your organization is on the CSAL list it is just a matter of time until you receive your OMB approved scheduling letter. To check the CSAL lists, click here.
