Machine Guarding Safety Training

This course is designed for employees who work with or around machinery that could potentially cause injury or harm. Machine Guarding violations are consistently among the top 10 OSHA citations each year. This training simplifies the key principles, covers best practices, highlights common causes of incidents, and teaches how to identify and address guarding hazards effectively.

This course aligns with OSHA 1910 Subpart O Machinery and Machine Guarding and includes the following:

• A 14-minute video course
• Basic concepts and methods of machine guarding
• How to recognize the point of operation, power transmission devices, and operating controls
• Identifying different types of machine guards and how they protect workers
• Effective use of safeguarding devices
