Lockout Tagout Safety Training

This training is aimed at authorized employees responsible for performing lockout/tagout, affected employees who interact with equipment undergoing lockout/tagout, and all employees who need to understand the process and adhere to hazardous energy control procedures. This course teaches safe and effective methods for controlling hazardous energy, with a focus on demonstrating lockout/tagout procedures, identifying hazardous energy sources, and how to achieve a zero-energy state.

This course aligns with OSHA 1910.147 Control of Hazardous Energy and includes:

• A 23-minute video course
• In-depth animations demonstrating lockout/tagout and test start processes
• Real-life demonstrations of lockout/tagout procedures
• Methods to identify various hazardous energy sources
• Understanding the types and magnitudes of common hazardous energy sources
• Approaches to controlling hazardous energy
• Explanation of lockout/tagout procedures and their effective implementation
• Roles and responsibilities for authorized, affected, and other employees
• The importance of test start and why it is a key step in hazardous energy control
• Demonstration of emergency lock removal and group lockout procedures
