Emergency Preparedness Safety Training

This training is designed for anyone who may need to evacuate or respond to workplace emergencies. It equips participants with the skills to act quickly and decisively during emergencies. Life-threatening events occur rapidly, and this course will help you understand the steps that can protect you and your coworkers.

The course is aligned with OSHA standards 1910.38 and 1926.35, which require employers to assign and train employees to facilitate a safe and orderly evacuation of personnel.

This training includes:

• A 21-minute video course
• Demonstrations of ineffective reactions during emergencies to highlight what not to do
• Proper evacuation procedures
• Emergency escape protocols
• Guidelines for employees who must remain to operate critical equipment prior to evacuation
• Strategies for accounting for all employees post-evacuation
• Rescue and medical responsibilities for designated employees
• Instructions on how to report fires and other emergencies effectively
• An overview of the written emergency action plan and its purpose
• A practical demonstration of evacuation procedures, emphasizing communication, teamwork, and proper use of the emergency assembly area
